when you're reading this text you're probably not able to understand German. This website altes-angelgeraet.de (means translated: old-fishingtackle.de) is mostly designed from and for German-speaking collectors. It's free, interactive and built by the input of the collectors scene. Unfortunately it would be too time consuming to translate all of the articles from German to English. If you've found an article that could be interesting for your research but you're not able to understand it, I recommend to try one of the language tools like Babel Fish. It's able to translate the whole website. Although the result is more funny than really usefull it sometimes gives you the clue your're looking for. Authors wanted!!! Although this website is mostly designed for German-speaking collectors, foreign authors are wanted as well! You have to know that a lot of Germans, Austrians and Swiss are speaking English. Besides we have numerous visitors from all over the world which are familiar with it. In short: If you've got an interesting collection and/or a good knowledge about a related topic, just write an article!
